SIMIPLIFIED MOVEMENT CALLS FOR SUPPORT IN SIM GOVERNMENT.
Dr. Chidi Orlu, leader of the Simiplified Movement Ward 2 at Isiokpo in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the State, emphasized the importance of unity and development in the state. He made this known as they expanded their leadership structure.
The Simiplified Movement, a group endorsed by the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, is dedicated to promoting and defending his initiatives. We are proud of his accomplishments, which include effective governance and a commitment to peace. Despite numerous challenges, he has remained steadfast in his pursuit of peace, a testament to his leadership.
Dr Orlu stated that they are interested in protecting, projecting, and defending the governor’s policies because it is obvious that there can not be two governors in the state at the same time. He is the governor elected by the people, and having been elected by the people, he is no longer a man’s candidate but a people’s candidate.
“Isiokpo ward 2 leadership decided to expand their leadership structure to be able to take the leadership closer to the people we decided to inaugurate the ward exco, the chapter exco, women,youth and Elder leaderships,” he says.
Dr. Orlu reiterated that the movement’s purpose is to bolster the Governor’s confidence by demonstrating that he has the support of the masses. He emphasized that it is every citizen’s duty to back the current government, a principle at the core of the group’s mission.
Dr. Orlu pointed out that Governor Fubara’s success transcends political affiliations, underscoring that good governance is not a matter of party politics but a collective endeavor for the betterment of our state.
Also speaking, a leader of the simplified movement in Ward 2, Comrade Agba Timothy, said the organisation has stood behind Governor to resist every plan against him.
Comrades Agba said, ” We are very overwhelmed with the strength of the Governor. We are working very hard to assist him in governance. We followed up on the state Assembly matter, and we also assisted the Governor to make sure he resists the impeachment movement that was carried out by twenty-seven (27) House Assembly members. We have been very supportive of the governor.”
He encouraged every Rivers man to join this simiplified movement because it is a group and an NGO that has come to stay and ensure good governance in Rivers state.
